Henry, Keith


 Dr. Keith Henry

Keith Henry, MD is a Professor of Medicine.  He started the first HIV clinic in Minnesota in 1985. He joined the HCMC ID staff in September 2001. His clinical and research activities are focused on HIV infection.  He serves as the HIV Research Director for the HCMC ID Division.  HIV-related studies conducted at HCMC are supported by the NIH (ACTG and CPCRA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and numerous industry sponsors.  Dr. Henry has also been involved with treatment of HIV infection projects in resource-poor settings such as Africa and India.  He recently was named a US Top HIV Clinician by The Body.  His major research interests involve the long-term strategies for control of HIV infection and toxicities related to treatment.
