Schwebke, Kay

Kay Schwebke, MD, MPH, is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She received her medical school training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine (New York) and her Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases training at the University of Minnesota.  She completed a Masters in Public Health (Epidemiology) in 1995 and is currently working on a Masters in Health Journalism.  

Dr. Schwebke joined the staff at HCMC in April 1997. She is the medical director of the HCMC Coinfection Clinic.  In addition, she is the medical director of a long term care facility and an electronic commerical quality measurement tool; she was medical director of a primary care clinic in southern Minnesota from 1996-1999.  Her main clinical interests include the management of HIV and hepatitis C infection.
