Thurn, Joseph
Joseph Thurn, M.D., M.P.H. is an Assistant Professor of Medicine. After completing his infectious diseases training, Dr. Thurn received a master of public health degree in epidemiology. He is the hospital epidemiologist and Director of the HIV Clinic. His areas of interest include methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus, nosocomial infections/infection control, and appropriate management of HIV-1 infection.
