Exam Information


Exam Information 

Med 7500 – Exams start promptly, please arrive by the time indicated below.

Shelf Exam: Give at the University on the last day of the rotation.  Please view the room assignments below.

Grading: Honors – 73 or higher, Passing – 60 or higher, Failing – Less than 60. 

Lab/EKG Exam: Given at your rotation site on the last Thursday afternoon of the rotation. 

Grading: Students who fail the Lab/EKG exam (score less than 60) will have an “H” lowered to “E”, an “E” lowered to S; S grades will be unchanged.

Contact your rotation site coordinator for exam results. The Shelf exam results take up to 4 weeks to process. 

If you are unable to participate in the Med I exam and/or Lab/EKG exam on the last day of the rotation, for any reason, you will need to make up the exam or exams on the next rotation block (6 weeks later).  Approval must be obtained by the Course Director, please contact Alison via e-mail at chandler@umn.edu.  

Parking will NOT be paid for.  Please make your own parking arrangements.

Med 7501 – Exam starts promptly, please arrive by the time indicated below.

Final Exam:
Given on the last day of the rotation at your rotation site.

Parking will NOT be paid for.  Please make your own parking arrangements.

Period 3 Exam Information:

Shelf Exam:
Friday, November 7th, 8:30 – 11:00 in 3-110 Moos Tower.
Exam begins promptly at 8:30.  Exam length: 2 hours and 10 minutes.

Lab/EKG Exam: Arranged by site

Med 7501 Exam: Arranged by site
