INSHI Home

The International Network for the Study of HIV-associated IRIS (INSHI) is an international collaborative network of investigators interested in IRIS. The purpose of the collaboration is to harmonize ongoing and future studies in utilizing similar case definitions and measurements to enable cross-study comparisons.

A key focus of INSHI is to facilitate collaborations among international investigators to enhance future IRIS research in prospective cohort studies and randomized trials bringing together expertise in epidemiology, immunology, and basic science to enhance IRIS-related research.

What's New

A INSHI meeting was held at the International AIDS Conference on July 21, 2010 in Vienna, Austria.

 A one day workshop on July 18, 2009 immediately prior to the 5th International AIDS Society Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention in Capetown, South Africa in July 19-22, 2009. The next INSHI gathering likely will be held at CROI 27 February - 3 March 2011.
