| The missions of the University of Minnesota Interventional Cardiology Program are to train physicians in interventional cardiology, and to improve patient outcomes through innovation. The program is composed of an amalgamation of three inherently-different programs: one traditional university program, one high-volume private-institute program, and one VA program emphasizing approaches to complex atherosclerosis. By combining these entitites, we hope to achieve the three goals of training: scholarship, innovation, and clinical experience. Thank you for visiting the site.
