Board Room/Videoconference Center

The LHI Board Room houses high-end videoconference and presentation equipment. Capabilities include:

• videoconferencing by ISDN or IP
• audioconferencing
• laptop connection in table
• dedicated PC in podium
• wireless hotspot
• LCD projector (with projection screen)
• VHS and DVD players
• Document camera for displaying transparencies, print material, medical films, etc.

All equipment connects to both the videoconference system and LCD projector. Ceiling speakers and table microphones provide excellent communication for multi-party audio- and videoconferencing. The board room table seats 12, but occasional chairs add 3-5 seats for a total of 17 maximum.

Education Center

The Lillehei Heart Institute Education Center seats 30+ with tables arranged lecture- or conference-style. Available AV equipment includes a ceiling-mounted LCD projector and projection screen, a podium containing a PC, VCR, DVD player, and microphone, a white board, an overhead projector, and x-ray viewing boxes. For the convenience of catered conferences, the room is also equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and a 24-cup coffee maker.
