Joshua G. Schmitt

Mentor: Rob Gallegos, M.D.

Joshua is a undergraduate student currently majoring in neuroscience. His aspirations are to ultimately become a cardiac surgeon. He is currently working under the direction of Dr. Robert Gallegos and Richard Bianco. Joshua is mastering techniques in cardio-pulminary bipass, anesthesia, and operative techniques to be used in both small and large animal models. He looks forward to expanding his knowledge of cardiovascular physiology and academic research.
