MD Center Support Groups

A support group for children living with neuromuscular disease, ages 0-12, and their parents. Parents will participate in a discussion while children living with neuromuscular disease swim in Shriners therapy pool. The Shriners Hospital Rehabilitation Services Director and University of Minnesota PT students will be in the pool for children who need one-to-one supervision.Parents are also welcome to bring someone to swim with their child. We encourage parents to participate in a discussion as this group is meant to be both a support for parents as well as providing independent fun for their children.
