Thesis Advisors: Jianyi (Jay) Zhang, MD, PhD, Biomedical Engineering Graduate Program

Thesis Research:

I am working with Jay Zhang MD PhD in the area of myocardial bioenergetics. The Zhang group seeks to understand the heart in a variety of disease states and theraeutic scenarios (e.g., emerging stem cell treatments and pharmaceuticals). We perform our studies in teams on live model systems and employ a combination of techniques used in the specialties of cardiology, radiology, surgery and pathology.
