Social Life

While internal medicine residency training is rigorous, we have designed a reasonable program and take pride in the fact that our residents can truly “have a life” outside of medicine.  We believe this will result in well rounded physicians, who will take better care of patients.

We sponsor and promote many social activities throughout the year.  Some of them include the Intern Welcome Picnic which is held at the Chairman's house, the Holiday Party at the Happy Gnome, and the Graduation Dinner held every June at the McNamara Alumni Center (aka “the prom”). Chief residents also organize resident/intern appreciation on a monthly basis.
