Welcome to the Hospital Medicine Pathway

The Hospital Medicine Pathway is an innovation, joint venture of the HealthPartners Medical Group Division of Hospital Medicine and the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. 

Mission

To foster the growth and development of those residents wishing to pursue careers as practitioners, educators, researchers, and leaders in hospital medicine. 

Vision

The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota, utilizing the nationally renowned, 50 member HealthPartners Medical Group hospitalist faculty at Regions Hospital in partnership with the newly formed Fairview/UMP Hospital Medicine Program at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, will lead the nation in the development of hospital medicine practitioners and leaders.
