Driving Directions

CONSTRUCTION WARNING!  There is heavy construction near our building – all parking areas must be accessed from the West (off University, take 27th Ave SE to 4th St SE to 29th Ave SE).  The surface lot is not noted on the map but is a free parking lot located behind the post office on 4th Street. The lower level of the ramp and the visitor parking lot attached to the building are both open and identified on the map.  University Park Plaza Access Map.

From the South:

1. Take I-35W North toward Minneapolis.
2. Merge onto I-94 East via exit 16B toward St. Paul.
3. Take the Huron Boulevard exit - Exit 235B.
4. Stay straight to go onto Huron Boulevard SE.
5. Turn right onto Washington Avenue.
6. Turn right onto University Avenue.
7. Visitor Parking: Turn left onto 29th Avenue SE, then turn left into visitor parking lot. 

From the North: 

1. Take I-35W South toward Minneapolis.
2. Merge onto MN-280 South via Exit 23A.
3. Take the exit toward Territorial Road/University Avenue.
4. Stay straight to go onto Eustis Street.
5. Turn right onto University Avenue.
6. Visitor Parking: Turn left onto 29th Avenue SE, then turn left into visitor parking lot.

From the West: 

1. Take I-94 East.
2. Take the Huron Boulevard exit - Exit 235B.
3. Stay straight to go onto Huron Boulevard SE.
4. Turn right onto Washington Avenue.
5. Turn right onto University Avenue.
6. Visitor Parking: Turn left onto 29th Avenue SE, then turn left into visitor parking lot.

From the East: 

1. Take I-94 West.
2. Take the MN-280 exit toward University Avenue/Pelham Boulevard.
3. Take the exit toward University Avenue.
4. Turn slight left onto Cromwell Avenue.
5. Turn left onto University Avenue.
6. Visitor Parking: Turn right onto 29th Avenue SE, then turn left into visitor parking lot.

Additional Visitor Parking:

1. Behind the building in the lowest level of the ramp (visitor parking is open and on the west end of the ramp) off of 4th street.
2. Surface parking is available 1 ½ blocks down from the parking ramp on the right side of 4th street (if going west towards U of M campus) across from the Post Office. There is a small sign marking it as “University Park Plaza” parking and it is free.
