Centennial Celebration, Saturday, November 1, 2008

The Program of Mortuary Science at the University of Minnesota is pleased to announce it will hold its Centennial Celebration on Saturday, November 1, 2008, which is Homecoming Day.  The day will feature continuing education activities and tours of the program’s facilities. The homecoming football game starts at 11:00 AM at the Metrodome, with the Golden Gophers playing against Northwestern.  (Football tickets can be ordered through: 1-800-UGOPHER; 612-624-8080; or www.gophersports.com) In the evening, there will be a special Centennial banquet event held at the Campus Club.  Our featured keynote speaker for the day will be Mr. Thomas Lynch.  All events are open to the public, but tickets are required for the dinner banquet.  For more information, or to order tickets, please contact the program office at 612.624.6464.
