Genetics of Epilepsy in Informative Populations

Funded through the Holden Targeted Research Program from the Epilepsy Foundation of America, this exciting project has become an intersection of intercultural understanding and medical research.  Principal Investigator Miguel E. Fiol, M.D., is collaborating with several institutions throughout the Middle East on examining genetic pedigrees to identify genetic causes of several types of epilepsies and cortical malformations.
