Dr. LaValleur is Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health and is the Director of the Mature Women’s Center and is associated with the University’s Program in Human Sexuality.

Dr. LaValleur received her medical degree in 1987 from the University of Minnesota and completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology from that same institution. 

Dr. LaValleur is currently involved in multiple research projects.  She is a speaker with a national reputation for her expertise in mature women’s health.  Her special interests include menopause, sexual dysfunction, osteoporosis, and hormone therapy.  Dr. LaValleur continues to pioneer the cause of mature women’s health and empowers women all over the country in their lifelong journey toward health and wholeness.
