Dr. Prosen is Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Dr. Prosen received her medical degree at the University of Minnesota Duluth in 1994.  She then went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.  She completed fellowships in both clinical genetics and maternal-fetal medicine at Magee-Women’s Hospital and the University of Pittsburgh.  Before coming to the University of Minnesota Dr. Prosen was An Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh as well as the Co-Director of the Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment Center and the Interim Director of the Division of Reproductive Genetics at Magee-Women’s Hospital

Dr. Prosen specializes in perinatal genetic diagnosis and performs chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis.  She has special interest in pregnancies affected by structural or genetic abnormalities.
