Training Grants
Graduate student opportunities are expanded at the University of Minnesota through funding derived from NIH & NSF training grants awarded to faculty and graduate programs. These grants are highly competitive, are annually reviewed and must be periodically renewed. Renewal depends on demonstrating successful training of the predoctoral students receiving support, so these grants represent the commitment of the graduate faculty to the retention, graduation and career success of our students. Here is a list of the currently funded training grants in the biomedical sciences: Training for Future Biotechnology Development Functional Proteomics of Aging Immunology Predoctoral Training of Neuroscientists
