Shakir Ejaz, M.D.


Dr. Ejaz

Shakir Ejaz graduated with distinction from the Aga Khan University Medical School in Karachi, Pakistan in 2002. He joined the University of Minnesota as a PGY2 in Internal Medicine in 2005 after finishing his internship in Internal Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.

Shakir presented at the American College of Physicians meeting in 2005 and won the clinical vignette presentation award for the State of Minnesota. His previous research projects include clinical research in outcomes of a large and assorted variety of diseases. He is currently interested in basic science research including proteomics of acute and chronic rejection in lung transplant recipients.
