Project: During training Hilary participated in two research projects: “Colon and Rectal Complications After Heart and Lung Transplantation” has been presented at the Minnesota Surgical Society and the Tripartite Meeting in Dublin, Ireland (2005), and has been published in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons. “Renal Function in Lung and Heart-Lung Transplant Recipients Treated With Sirolimus” was presented at the meeting of the American Transplant Congress (2005) as a poster presentation; a manuscript entitled “Sirolimus Does Not Alleviate GFR Decay in Lung Transplant Recipients” is currently being prepared for submission. As part of her training in clinical research Hilary completed 8 credits, which can be used towards master’s training: (Biostatistics I and Epidemiology I).
