Paul Grimsrud, PhD

Dr. Paul Grimsrud Mentor:  Dr. David Bernlohr

Current Position:  Post-Doctoral Fellow, University of Wisconsin, Madison

Research Project:  "Proteomic analysis of 4-hydroxynonenal (HNE)-modified proteins"

Specific Aims:

  • Develop proteomic methodology for the investigation of HNE-modification of proteins
  • Determine targets and extent of HNE-modification in lung dysfunction
  • Determine the role of HNE-modification as a signaling molecule
