- Community University Health Care Center (CUHCC)
offers a Teen Clinic every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. The clinic serves diverse populations drawn primarily from the Southeast Asian, East African and Native American communities. - STAR Center for Family Health
The STAR Center (Services for Teenagers at Risk) Adolescent Eating Disorder and Weight Management program offers an inter-disciplinary outpatient program for adolescents and young adults with eating disorders and weight management issues. - College of St. Catherine's Health and Wellness Center serves both undergraduate and graduate students on campus, providing medical and mental health needs.
- St. Joseph's Community Clinic provides comprehensive preventive and acute care for youth referred from the foster care system, from juvenile corrections and from other residential treatment facilities. On-site mental health providers are present.
- Youth Link is a drop-in clinic affiliated with a full-service center that assists homeless youth in stabilizing their lives.
Training - Leadership Education in Adolescent Health Projects (LEAH)
LEAH projects provide interdisciplinary leadership training, faculty development, continuing education, scholarship, technical assistance and collaboration with MCH programs, Title V Programs in state departments of public health, State Adolescent Health Coordinators, policymakers and professional organizations concerned with the health of adolescents. The Healthy Youth Development Prevention Research Center (PRC) collaborates with state and local organizations and communities to provide training, conduct research, and disseminate findings related to best practices in healthy youth development. - Konopka Institute (Konopka)
Inspired by the pioneering work of Dr. Gisela Konopka, the Konopka Institute's goal is to get reliable information into the hands of everyone who is in a position to help adolescents. - Minnesota Youth Community Learning Initiative (MYCL)
This is a community driven partnership program funded by a grant from the W.K. Kellog Foundation. "Our youth finish school" is the defining objective for this community capacity building and adolescent health focused program. - State Adolescent Health Resource Center (SAHRC)
SAHRC strives to strengthen the knowledge, skills and capacities of state MCH professionals so they can more effectively address and improve the health of adolescents. |
