Dr. Lee A. Pyles, MD, FAAP, FACC is an Assistant Professor Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology and Director of the Pediatric Cardiology Specialty Clinic at Children’s Hospital in St. Paul.

Dr. Pyles received his M.D. from West Virginia University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Minnesota. He was a member of the faculty at West Virginia University from 1990 until 1998 when he joined the University of Minnesota faculty.

Dr. Pyles is a pediatric cardiologist interested in clinical, echo and catheter diagnosis of congenital heart disease.  Dr. Pyles is a member of Best Doctors in America and Twin Cities Magazine Best Doctors.  He is Privacy and Security Officer for University of Minnesota Physicians and is interested in use of the internet and electronic health records to improve outcomes for children with heart disease as well as emergency care for complex children.
