Center for Infectious Diseases & Microbiology Translational Research
The Center for Infectious Diseases and Microbiology Translational Research (CIDMTR) promotes interdisciplinary interactions among highly accomplished teams of investigators with expertise in Infectious Diseases/Microbiology, Immunology, Neuroscience, and Genomics. Research is aimed at developing new treatments and strategies for prevention of infectious that are responsible for major suffering and death worldwide (e.g., HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, congenital viral infections, encephalitis, and typhoid fever).
