PEM Fellowship
The Department of Pediatrics of the University of Minnesota and its integrated hospitals have a long-standing tradition of excellence in the medical care of children and in the enhancement of this care through research and education. The Pediatric faculty is committed to the continuation of all elements of this tradition.
The mission of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at the University of Minnesota is to produce a specialist who is clinically proficient in diagnosis, treatment and management of acutely ill and injured children, competent in teaching the full range of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, capable of performing and evaluating Pediatric Emergency Medicine research and familiar with Pediatric Emergency Medicine administrative issues.
Pediatric Trainee Requirements:
- Pediatric trained residents need to complete a 3 year program
- Emergency Medicine trained residents need to complete a 2 year program
