Growth Hormone and MPS I, II, and VI

A clinical trial of human growth hormone (hGH) is being conducted at the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital.  Children with MPS I, II, or VI with short stature are invited to participate.  HGH is an FDA approved treatment for short stature, however there are no data at this time on using this treatment specifically in children with MPS.  The goal of this clinical trial is to determine what, if any, effect hGH has on the growth velocity, bones, and cognitive functioning of children with MPS I, II, and VI.
