Dr. Johnson received her Ph.D. in the field of Pharmacology in 2005 from the University of Michigan. She began a postdoctoral research traineeship in Pediatric Cancer Epidemiology at the University of Minnesota in September 2005. Dr. Johnson is currently characterizing the pharmacokinetics outcomes associated with metabolism of chemotherapeutic agents by polymorphic metabolizing enzymes. In addition to this she is also determining whether there is an association between these genetic polymorphisms and susceptibility to drug toxicity associated with bone marrow transplants.
