IAC Developmental Assessment

Focus:

Comprehensive assessment of learning skills, language and communication skills and development of attachment relationship.

Type of visit:

Psychologist

Appropriate for:
  • Children less than six years old
  • Child has been in the U.S. > 1 year
  • Requires at least one prior medical visit to the International Adoption Clinic for initial assessment
  • Recommended as part of two visits: first assessment at 1 year (approx.) post-adoption and second assessment prior to entry into the school system, about 4 years old.
Length of visit:

Please allow five hours total for this appointment; you will receive more specific information upon registering.
