Transition Into the Family Research Study
STUDY: EXAMINING THE TRANSITION INTO FAMILY LIFE
In collaboration with the International Adoption Clinic, we are pleased to invite you to participate in a new research project that will examine young children's adaptation and development following international adoption. RECRUITMENT CRITERIA

Your child will be or was recently adopted internationally

You have not yet brought your child home, or you have only had her/him home for < 4 weeks

Your internationally adopted child is a toddler between 18 and 30 months old at time of arrival
PURPOSE We want to learn what impact, if any, early life experiences have on the post-adoption lives of internationally adopted children. We also seek to examine the family experiences that help to support the transition into family life.
EXPECTED OUTCOME We hope to identify strategies and develop resources for families on how to best support their internationally adopted child's transition into their family.
