Heather Podgorski, M.D.
 Heather Podgorski, MD Fellowship Dates: 7/1/2009-6/30/2012 Heather attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. Following completion of medical school, she went on to residency in pediatrics at the University of Iowa. Heather is working in the laboratory to better understand why preterm infants are particularly susceptible to yeast infections. Heather received funding from the Benjamin Walker Hanson Fund to attend an NIH-sponsored meeting on research and grant writing skills.
