Dr. Bergeron began his fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine in July 2005 after completing his pediatrics residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. He received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, in 1995 and graduated from the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2002. A native Oregonian, his hometown is Bend, Oregon.
Dr. Bergeron's research interests are focused on neonatal outcomes after preterm premature rupture of membranes (pPROM). He is currently working on a master’s degree in public health at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, majoring in Maternal and Child Health. Dr. Bergeron is married with two children, and his recreational interests include canoeing and kayaking, hiking and alpine skiing when he is not moonlighting as a neonatal nurse practitioner.
