Directed by Catherine M. Bendel, M.D., the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship, which is accredited by the Residency Review Committee for Pediatrics and includes the American Board of Pediatrics, is jointly sponsored by the University of Minnesota and Children's Hospitals and Clinics--St. Paul.
Fellows in our program train in the the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the University of Minnesota Children's Hospital, Fairview. The NICU ranked in the top cluster of four exceptional NICU sites, according to a national NICU organizational culture assessment conducted by The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Fellowship Applicants
Beginning academic year 2009, the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program will be participating in the National Resident Match Program (www.nrmp.org) and will receive applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). (Please note that our program can consider applicants with J-1 visas only.)
