Fellowships

The Pediatric Nephrology Training Program at the University of Minnesota was initiated in 1965 by Alfred Michael and Robert Vernier, and continues today under the direction of  Michael Mauer. Supported by a training grant from the National Institutes of Health since 1975, the program has graduated more than 100 trainees, more than 80 percent of whom occupy full-time positions in academic nephrology. The three-year program is accredited by the Residency Review Committee of the American Council on Graduate Medical Education.

To apply to the fellowship program, please contact Susan Strate, Fellowship Coordinator,  at sstrate@umn.edu.
