Terri Laguna, MD, MSCS joined the Department of Pediatrics in August 2008 as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology. 

Dr. Laguna earned her B.S. at the University of New Mexico.  She received her medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco.  She completed her internship, residency and chief residency in Pediatrics at the University of Washington, Seattle.  She then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at the University of Colorado Denver.  After her clinical fellowship, she completed one year as a research fellow before she joined the faculty at the University of Colorado.  She also obtained a Masters Degree in Clinical Science at the University of Colorado Denver Graduate School.  Dr. Laguna’s research focus is on biomarkers of lung injury and remodeling in cystic fibrosis.  Other clinical research interests include gender differences in cystic fibrosis and the affects of altitude on a CF population.  She is also interested in medical education and the mentorship of trainees.
