How to Complete Evaluations in New Innovations (RMS)

You will receive an email notification each period from New Innovations alerting you to evaluations you need to complete. You will be able to click on the link in the email to access the RMS website. Completing evaluations is a program requirement. Refer to the program manual for additional information.

Login: default login is all lowercase
Password: default password is all lowercase
See the Logging Into RMS page on the Peds Residency Intranet for hints to your default login and password.

After you've entered your username and password, to complete evaluations:

• Choose "---- UMN-PEDS: Pediatrics" from the drop down list
• Click "Go"
• On the Welcome Page under "Evaluations"
  • Click on: You have "# of evaluations to complete".
  • You will see a list of open evaluations
  • Click on "Evaluate" next to the evaluation you wish to complete
  • Complete the evaluation
  • Sign it
  • Click "Submit Final"

If you have a confidential comment, you will need to complete a separate evaluation of this individual.

On the Welcome Page under "Evaluations"

• "Click here to select a person to evaluate"
• Click "Choose Subject" for the appropriate evaluation (there are different evaluations for Intern, Senior, and Faculty)
• Choose "Subject"
• Choose "Rotation"
• Click "Create Evaluation" immediately below the rotation schedule.
• Complete the evaluation
• Sign it
• Click "Submit Final"

These evaluations go directly to the Pediatric Residency Program Director and are unavailable to the subject.
