Dr. Bjoraker is an assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Clinical Neuroscience within the Department of Pediatrics where she is involved in multi-disciplinary research projects investigating neuropsychological functioning and psychosocial outcomes of children with genetic, inherited, and metabolic diseases. Her primary clinical interests include evaluation of the neuropsychological sequelae of genetic and neurological conditions, and consultation with health care providers, parents, and educators. Dr. Bjoraker¿s research focus is in clinical application of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in the treatment of neurologic diseases. Research interests include identifying the factors that predict and contribute to health outcomes and quality-of-life in the developing child with lysosomal diseases. She is interested in the effects of pediatric illness on the quality of life of siblings.
Dr. Bjoraker is a member of the American Psychological Association, International Neuropsychological Society, National Association of School Psychologists, American Society of Human Genetics, and the National Register of Health Care Providers in Psychology.
