- Consultation within health care settings regarding behavioral and developmental issues (e.g., developmental disability, learning disability, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder)
- Psychosocial care of children in foster care
- Forensic issues in child psychology (e.g., custody evaluations, child abuse,)
- Issues in domestic and international adoption (the effects of early chaos, institutionalization to the long term developmental outcome of children.
Research interests: - Impact of organ transplantation on cognitive and language development
- Attachment and developmental outcome of high risk and premature neonates
- Psychological consequences of chronic and life threatening illness (e.g., childhood cancer survivors)
