Dr. Jensen is the Director of the Residency Training and Education Program in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Minnesota in 1972 and is a 1979 graduate of Case Western Reserve University Hospitals General and Child Psychiatry Residency Program.

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy, family dynamics, and group therapy are his emphasis in psychotherapy teaching. He teaches psychopharmacology management, incorporating his research in neurochemical mechanisms underlying childhood depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and autism. He also is interested in obsessive-compulsive disorders in children. Forensic child psychiatry, school consultation, community consultation, and child sexual abuse are additional areas of clinical interests.
