Inpatient 40 bed acute rehab hospital with an onsite outpatient facility. It's a beautiful new facility with new equipment and a large gym.
Diagnoses include CVA, TBI, PD, amputee, hip fractures, COPD, cardiac, etc.
Our friendly therapists have a wide range of experience and are teamwork oriented. The majority of our population is adult/geriatric with a variety of neurological and orthopedic diagnoses.

Murdock Recruiting - PT for Houston, TX
PT is needed for this large facility with a nineteen acre campus and 30,000 sq. ft. of modern and efficient treatment space, including an Indoor Junior-Olympic heated pool and spa for exercise and treatment.
Setting is Early Childhood Intervention and Outpatient. Once a child enters the program they tend to stay until they age out, so there is considerable variety of medical diagnoses such as Down Syndrome and chromosomal abnormalities. Mostly general developmental delays which may be undiagnosed because they are so young or a result of prematurity. Also children with atypical oral motor and feeding problems and atypical behavior such as those on the PDD spectrum.
Length of stay is dependent on the needs of the child and at what age they were referred. Children with lifelong disabilities will stay until age three. Other children with mild delays are discharged once they are evaluated and shown to be demonstrating skills at age level.
We perform a full range of PT/OT/SLP work, except we do little spinal work and almost no closed head injuries.
We would likely also use a percentage of this staff in our Pediatric Outpatient program, a more traditional outpatient program. Length of stay there is 6-8 months, typically 1-2 times weekly. - Starting salary is negotiable but a PT would be somewhere near $60,000 annually. Salary is higher for an experienced PT.
- Sign-on is negotiable.

We are a large outpatient clinic housed with an 80 bed rehab hospital.
30-40% of our outpatients come from the IP setting and you can see some diagnoses that are not typical in an outpatient private practice. These include Spinal Cord injuries, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Strokes and Parkinson's Disease as well as more complicated multi trauma cases.

Murdock Recruiting, Inc: PT owned clinics offering Outpatient Orthopedic Manual Therapy
We are a group that strives to provide the best care through evidence based treatment plans, as well as using manual techniques to facilitate patient outcomes. Our therapists have manual therapy certification and encourage manual treatments in the clinic. Almost every patient receives some sort of manual PT. Our patient population is very low work comp patients (< 5%), and low Medicare population (< 20%). We see approximately 20-24 patients per day and have a potential growth opportunity because the area we are located in is a growing area.
The expectation for a staff PT is to see 12 patients per day and we have a therapist bonus program that if they meet this goal, they receive a bonus on their pay check every two weeks. More money for averaging 13 to 14 patients per day.
Salary is competitive and we provide a great work environment. The staff has been consistent within the clinic for 2 years and has very low stress and drama. We have a great reputation with the physicians in the area, which has led to our success as a clinic, and also over all the success of our partnership.
For therapists who wish to stay with us for awhile, there is much promotion from within. All of our directors in each clinic have been promoted from other clinics within our group.

Ardor Health: Nationwide Ardor Health is a premier Healthcare Recruiting organization specializing in Travel/Contract, Temp to Permanent, PRN and Perm placement. We provide quality Physical and Occupational Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists to schools, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and skilled nursing facilities across the country.
After only one contract period, our candidates are free to go permanent with the facility at no additional cost to the facility. We also staff school districts nationwide.
We handle all insurance, taxes, housing and travel expenses for the therapist while under contract. Our contracts typically run from three months to ten months with the therapist working approximately 35-40 hours a week.
