From our Graduate Minor in Complementary Therapies and Healing Practices, the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate program and health coaching track, study-abroad options, as well as continuing education programs and online learning, the Center provides healthcare professionals, students and the greater community access to the latest approaches in complementary and alternative healthcare education. Collaborating with the University's Academic Health Center schools and colleges, the Center helps weave complementary and alternative care topics into graduate and undergraduate health sciences curricula. Health sciences students learn how different cultures, faiths and integrative therapies can impact clinical care as well as health and well-being. NEW COURSE! Whole Systems Healing The Whole Systems Healing curriculum is designed to enable students to simultaneously develop their inner capacities while preparing them to be agents of social healing and environmental restoration. This new 3-credit course will allow students to use the lens of complexity theory to study vast internal and external systems which influence our lives and health. Whole Systems Healing will examine the interrelated workings of mind, psyche, and body and explore bringing these into dynamic balance. For more information, download the course flyer.
