From 2002-2004, Dr. Halcon was appointed a Sime Fellowship to pursue clinical research in the therapeutic use of essential plant oils. Dr. Halcon made history in receiving the FDA’s first-ever Investigative New Drug (IND) to study the therapeutic benefits of an essential oil. Dr. Halcon researched Tea Tree Oil as an antimicrobial for the treatment of chronic wound infections. To find out how you can support innovative research efforts, click on the bullets at right.
