Otology/neurotology clinic
The purpose of this clinic is to evaluate individuals with a variety of disorders of the ear that can be helped by medical and surgical treatment. The clinic deals with three major problem areas.

1. Hearing
2. Noise in the ear. This is often referred to as tinnitus.
3. Balance

In order to understand each of these problems better, we invite you to examine specific Web pages that better explain these conditions.

The clinic neurotologist sees patients in collaboration with neurosurgeons, audiologists, cosmetics surgeons, and skull-base cancer surgeons. Clinic meets on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Wednesday clinic in the afternoon is reserved for individuals who have skull-base tumors. These may include acoustic neuromas, meningiomas, and other tumors that affect more than the hearing mechanism. These may include a variety of nerves from the skull base.
