Assistant Professor Patient CareAreas of particular clinical interest pertain to my subspecialty training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. These areas include: Cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty; Treatment of the aging face; Reconstruction of facial Mohs’ surgical soft tissue defects; Treatment of facial nerve paralysis; Maxillofacial trauma; Scar revision; and Cleft lip and palate. ResearchMy current research examines wound healing in surgical incisions repaired with subcuticular absorbable staples versus traditional cutaneous stainless steel staples. Regeneration of the facial nerve following injury remains an area of considerable research interest.
