Assistant Professor Patient CareDr. Huang is the director of the Lions Childrens Hearing Center, a multi-specialty center for the diagnosis and treatment of children with hearing loss. She is also the director of the Facial Paralysis Clinic which treats patients with facial weakness. Her clinical interests include cochlear implantation for both adults and children, lateral skull base surgery in collaboration with neurosurgery for tumors and other diseases of the lateral brain and temporal bone, treatment of chronic ear disease and the diagnosis and treatment of dizziness and peripheral vestibular disorders.ResearchDr. Huang’s clinical research interests include cochlear implantation outcomes and tinnitus reduction strategies. Her scientific research interests include prevention of hearing loss due to aging, cytomegalovirus-induced hearing loss and cochlear lateral wall pathophysiology.
