The University of Minnesota Department of Family Medicine and Community Health has 145 residents in seven residency programs.

Residents receive procedural training and the opportunity to participate in advanced training in sports medicine, obstetrical care, geriatrics, evidence-based medicine, and human sexuality, taught by faculty with advanced training credentials.

Five of our programs are in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area; our non-metro programs are Mankato, 80 miles southwest, and St. Cloud, 70 miles northeast. See our residency programs map and directions.
