Graduates, Department of Family Medicine in the Medical School at the University of Minnesota

Our program's graduates work in a variety of settings ranging from full spectrum family medicine, to urgent care and emergency medicine, to purely sports medicine. Approximately 50 percent of our graduates practice in rural communities or small cities, and many continue to provide maternity care. Post-graduate surveys indicate they are extremely well-prepared for practice.
