Benefits: Professional Liability Insurance, Graduate Medical Education in the Medical School at the University of Minnesota

Coverage
Coverage is provided by the Regents of the University of Minnesota.  The professional liability insurance carrier is RUMINCO Limited.           

The policy number is RUM-1005. 

Coverage is in effect only while acting within the scope of your duties as a trainee.  Claims arising out of extracurricular professional activities (i.e. internal and external moonlighting) are not covered.  Coverage is not provided during unpaid leaves of absence.  Coverage limits are $1,000,000 each claim/$3,000,000 each occurrence and the form of insurance is claims made.

Procedure for requesting a Certificate of Insurance:

1. Complete the Certificate of Insurance Request Form
2. Send back to Pam Ubel at the address below
