For the last 50 years, the Masonic Families of Minnesota have played a key role in making sure that those afflicted with cancer receive the care and treatment they need. Twenty million dollars raised by Masonic members built the Masonic Cancer Center and the Masonic Cancer Research Building at the University of Minnesota.
The partnership between the Masonic Families and the University of Minnesota has not only endured over the years, but also flourished. In addition to providing funds for building development and expansion, the Masonic Cancer Center Fund (MCCF) supports the important work of Dr. Philip McGlave and the members of his Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation (HOT) Division. In 2007, MCCF made an operating grant of nearly $800,000.
