Facilities, Lillehei Heart Institute at the University of Minnesota

The research labs and administrative offices of the Lillehei Heart Institute fully occupy the newly renovated fourth floor of Nils Hasselmo Hall on the University of Minnesota East Bank campus. LHI also has additional meeting rooms nearby in Dwan Variety Club Cardiovascular Research Center (DVCCVRC). These include a large, classroom style conference room, a small and elegant board room equipped with high-end videoconference capabilities, and the C. Walton Lillehei Museum. The museum is devoted to the legacy of Dr. Lillehei’s groundbreaking research in open-heart surgery and medical devices at the University of Minnesota. More information about each facility is available in this section using the links at the right. Please feel free to contact LHI to request a tour or to reserve time in one of our meeting rooms.
