Dr. Vallabh Janardhan has joined the University of Minnesota as an Assistant Professor of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Radiology (tenure track). Dr. Janardhan trained in Neurology at Boston University, did his Stroke and Neuro-critical care fellowship at Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital, and subsequently trained in Interventional Neuroradiology at the University Hospitals of Cornell and Columbia/New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
He has extensive experience as a clinical teacher and researcher. He has established a promising track record for scholarship and has more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and abstracts. He has written several book chapters and invited review articles and is also the co-editor of the Interventional Neurology section of Medlink Neurology.
He is a member of several national and International Professional Societies including the American Heart Association/Stroke Council, American Academy of Neurology and the American Society of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology. He is also thefounding member of the Society for Vascular and Interventional Neurology as well as the Neurocritical Care Society. He has lectured widely to peers, faculty, residents and students during symposia, grand rounds and other venues where he is eager to share with everyone the exciting advances in the field.
